COOL ROOMS FOR COOL USERS
Say you land a job that requires an additional two hundred nodes to be added to your existing arsenal. And say you do not have enough space or power in your office to house them.
You may choose to send them to a co-location, or dispense with the shipping hassles by opting to use our cool room instead.
Our cool room is an air-conditioned space housing six racks that can hold 200x nodes with three 1Gbs internet lines on the ready.
Here is what two cool customers did when they first learned about it:
Customer #1: Based in LA, they asked if we could host 7x 3-GPU 4090 and 1x 8-GPU A6000 systems fast. One day later, their twenty-nine GPUs came alive and remained so for the next twenty months nonstop.
Customer #2: Also from LA, this firm asked for 10x 3-GPU 5090 systems. However, after realizing that their software was incompatible with the 5090 GPUs, they inquired if we could have them switched to 4090s instead. No sooner said than done. If that isn’t cool, what is?
To those who are contemplating using the cool room in the future, we recommend they set up their firewall ahead of time in order to insure immediate accessibility when they need it most. To that end, we dedicate a standard workstation for their exclusive use, online if they are remote, or in-house if they are local, until such a time when their connection is established.
